Book title: Behind Closed Doors

Publication year: 1996

Genre: Fiction

Number of pages: 320

Short description: Behind Closed Doors presents forty-seven tales told by three traditional women, members of a historic and highly civilized community, the city's traditional elite. Tale-telling is important to all traditional women, and the book examines its role in their shared world and its significance in the lives of the three tellers.

Personal review: The narration is swift and flowing, the suspense building so much that I had to maneuver myself often with extreme patience to not fly through sentences and dialogues.
