"Me and Harvey Keitel just after we'd done our last scene in Reservoir Dogs. It had been a really hard day shooting. Harvey's one of these actors who, when he's performing, always looks for something personal from his own experience to get the emotions. So we had to go to some very dark places to do that scene at the end, which is about betrayal, the father-son relationship between us. It was hard for him and me, so what you can see there is exhaustion and relief. I took one for Mike Madsen and one for Quentin (Tarantino) and thumb-printed both with fake blood.
