Messi scored twice as Barça got off to a winning start in Europe

Barcelona star Lionel Messi wrote a message on his personal Facebook account after his side's Champions League win over Juventus. Messi, with two goals in the 3-0 success, produced another European exhibition. 

Mess was not only scorer of two goals, but he also created the other one for Ivan Rakitic, his cross was not cleared properly and was thumped home by the Croatian. The Argentine, who beat Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon for the first time in four meetings, also hit the post. 

After the game, Messi wrote on social media, in Spanish and in English: "Great night and a good result to begin our European journey."
