Rekoil is a multiplayer first person shooter in which the downtrodden "Minutemen" are pitted against their oppressors, Darkwater Inc, in a world where the only goal is to survive the unrelenting pandemic that has swept across the globe.

Set in a world devastated by an unrelenting pandemic, Rekoil is a hardcore balanced arena shooter that allows mass battles of up to 24 players fragging each other to oblivion. With seven different game modes, 10 maps, and 40 different weapons, all with mod tools (PC Only) available at launch, Rekoil is the action FPS game refined to its purest form ensuring the fun is maximized and the best player with the greatest skills and most points wins.

Focusing on infantry based combat across a number of different locations, Rekoil has something for everyone. From the fast moving Assault class, to the heavily armed and dangerous Heavy Gunner class, Rekoil is a game made for those who desire balanced FPS gameplay with a large variety of different play styles. Whether you enjoy the run and gun approach, or prefer the patient tactical setup, Rekoil can be played the way you want to play.

Created by gamers, for gamers, Rekoil supports customizable servers, mod tools and is being developed with eSports in mind. Rekoil features all of the functionality required to properly facilitate competitive events. Full spectator mode will be present for casting and commentary needs, direct Twitch TV integration for streamers to broadcast from within the game, LAN support for tournaments, and for event organizers and video directors, replay functionality will be in place to allow players to review a match after the fact.
