Gal Gadot teases the start of filming for her new Netflix spy movie, Heart of Stone. The talented actress has come a long way since her film debut back in 2009 with Fast & Furious, becoming an icon with her most popular role as Wonder Woman for the DCEU. Gadot had a big 2021, starring in two of the year’s biggest films – Zach Snyder’s Justice League and the Netflix hit Red Notice, which became the most streamed film on the streaming service. Gadot recently starred in Kenneth Branagh’s Death on the Nile, which opened at number one at the box office and garnered generally positive reviews.

Gadot took to Twitter to upload a behind-the-scenes image of herself on the set of Heart of Stone. The actress reveals the name of her character in the tweet, Rachel Stone, introducing her to the world. Heart of Stone will be directed by Tom Harper, with the script being written by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder. Gadot will also be producing the film. There has not been much noise yet about the film’s story, other than it being a female take on popular spy franchises like James Bond and Mission: Impossible. Gadot will be joined by Jamie Dornan and Alia Bhatt, with more actors yet to be confirmed. Check out the image below:

It is exciting news to hear that Heart of Stone has started filming, especially with the film’s female spy premise being such an intriguing idea. Netflix has had plenty of success with their recent films like Red Notice and Don’t Look Up, which have all featured a big set of Hollywood names. It will be interesting to see how Heart of Stone performs on the streaming service, with Gadot being a perfect front-line star for an action film.
