Can I get rid of wanted level (stars) in other way than going to jail? I mean something like pay'n'spray in single player of gta.

You can get rid of your wanted level by surrendering to the Police ( get minimum jail sentance ), getting killed by the Police ( in this case your jail time increases ), getting cleared by the Police ( in case they gave you wanted for the wrong reason ), getting arrested and then freed by a lawyer ( this costs many $ and it isn't worth it ).
