  2. To close out its E3 2019 press conference, Square Enix finally took the wraps off its long-awaited and much-rumored Avengers game. After a few cinematic trailers, a quick chat with the voice cast, and more, the company eventually announced a release date: May 15, 2020. A cinematic trailer showed the basic premise of the game: the Avengers become hated after an attempt at heroism somehow goes awry and results in mass casualties, but of course they come back together. The playable characters include five key Avengers characters with notable voice actors behind the roles: Captain America (Jeff Schine), Iron Man (Nolan North), Hulk (Troy Baker), Thor (Travis Willingham), and Black Widow (Laura Bailey). The studio also promised an online co-op component, letting you team up with three friends to fend off increasing threats. It also promised the roster of heroes would grow over time with free DLC, and no random loot boxes. It will launch on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia, though Square Enix says it has entered a partnership with PlayStation for early beta access and bonus surprises in the PS4 version. No specifics have been shared about what the exclusive content will be or if it will eventually come to other platforms. Click on the picture! Source
  3. Now Playing: Ghost Recon Breakpoint Brothers Trailer | Ubisoft Press Conference E3 2019 Leave Blank Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Follow Actor Jon Bernthal appeared on stage during Ubsioft's press conference at E3 2019 to explain just how frighteningly lethal his villainous character, Cole Walker, will be in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Thanks to an upcoming beta for the game, you might not have to wait until the full release on October 4 to fight Walker and his Wolves. On stage during the press conference, Ubisoft announced it's kicking off a closed beta for Breakpoint that will start on September 5. Pre-ordering the game guarantees you access to the beta, but you can also sign up on the Breakpoint website for a chance to get early access to the game for free. "Ghost Recon Breakpoint's Beta is an opportunity to get an early taste of what the game has to offer," the website reads. "Register now for a chance to be among the first players to enter the world of Ghost Recon Breakpoint." Ubisoft also showed off a new trailer featuring Bernthal and said it planned to support Breakpoint with new content "for years." Details on what you'll actually play in Breakpoint are a bit thin still, but Ubisoft also announced the game would see the return of AI-controlled teammates (originally they were planned to be cut) and a new community cool called Delta Company. It also teased some kind of tie-in with Terminator: Dark Fate--apparently, you'll be fighting Terminators in Breakpoint in the future as well. Source

  5. THQ Nordic has continues its rollout of new game announcements just before E3 2019 begins. The latest it has revealed is a remake of the 2005 alien action game Destroy All Humans, where you play as an alien invader on Earth. The tongue-in-cheek action game is slated for release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2020. As in the original, the game is set in the 1950s and puts you in the role of an invading conqueror named Crypto-137. You can pose as humans, use powers and weapons like psychokinesis and an anal probe gun, and explore the Lost Mission of Area 42. It's being developed by Black Forest Games, an internal THQ Nordic studio. "The cult-classic returns! Terrorize the people of 1950s Earth in the role of the evil alien Crypto-137," the product description read. "Harvest their DNA and bring down the US government in the faithful remake of the legendary alien invasion action adventure. Annihilate puny humans using an assortment of alien weaponry and psychic abilities. Reduce their cities to rubble with your flying Saucer! One giant step on mankind!" With E3 coming up soon, THQ Nordic said that it would have three games to reveal this week, which has been an inordinately busy one. This is the third of those three. First it announced a remake of SpongeBob: Battle for Bikini Bottom for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Then alongside the recent Google Stadia presentation, the company announced Darksiders Genesis, an overhead Diablo-like action game featuring the horseman Strife. This is the last of what's expected from THQ, but you can expect more games and news in all of the upcoming press conferences. We're tracking all the newly announced games at E3 in one place to help you stay on top of everything that's coming. Source
  6. EA has only just announced FIFA 20, but the publisher has now revealed when you can get your hands on this year's football game. The series traditionally arrives at the end of September, and that's still the case this year: FIFA 20's release date has been set for September 27. The publisher revealed the news in a short teaser clip, which you can watch below. The video once again features a strange "V" logo, as well as some more generic soccer footage. EA has not yet confirmed which platforms FIFA 20 will launch for, but the series typically comes to PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, PS3, and Xbox 360. Lots of work is being done on making passing and shooting more realistic, EA says, especially when it comes to difficult strikes. Volleys will be more variable and less accurate, for example, while 180° and first-time passes will result in "slower/weaker balls." To compensate, easy situation passes will now be more accurate. Two new passing options will also be introduced: the driven pass-and-go (which will replace the current manual pass button combo) and the dinked pass, which will cease to be an automatic, contextual pass variant and instead be user-controlled only.
