The world of Alrest, simultaneously Earthly and alien, with a mysterious history that even its major players fail to truly understand, is a magical place to inhabit. It appropriately sets the stage for an epic adventure that gets more interesting as it develops, but this greatness comes after dozens of hours filled with eye rolls and bewilderment. For all the good things Xenoblade 2 eventually introduces, the 80-plus hours it takes to complete the story won't feel like time wasted, but the bad taste of the its lesser qualities is never completely washed away. The cliched hero Rex is a naive and upbeat salvager who gets wrapped up in contract work with the game's soon-to-be villains at the start. They seek a legendary sword, which in this case is the weapon-manifestation of a human-like being known as a Blade. When a human resonates with a Blade, as Rex does with his objective, Pyra, a lifelong partnership forms. Though sentimental to a point, these bonds are also a bit lopsided as Blades are forever bound to serve their masters. Xenoblade 2 does address this as the story unravels, one of the few smart instances when the game puts itself to task. Rex doesn't quite enjoy the same full-circle maturation, sadly, though his positivity at least grows more welcome as stakes rise and other characters' outlooks sour. Anyone familiar with Xenoblade Chronicles will rightfully recognize the way Xenoblade 2 sets you up to be surprised in the end, as characters gradually reveal secret thoughts, unveil unexpected backstories, and make moves that catch you off guard. These thought-provoking revelations reshape your understanding of the world and the point of your participation. But long before the story delivers these compelling beats, you are thrust into predictable scenarios and presented with poorly voiced characters from one scene to the next. Once again, the stout and furry Nopon creatures are an annoyance on par with Jar Jar Binks, harming would-be dramatic scenes the moment they open their mouths. Source

Real Madrid could try to sign Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez in a swap deal this January The Spanish giants are reportedly ready to offer Lucas Vazquez to the Gunners Reports suggest Arsenal would likely accept the offer for the Spain international READ MORE: Europa League draw: Arsenal draw a team founded after Arsene Wenger took Gunners job Real Madrid are reportedly preparing to offer Lucas Vazquez to Arsenal in a bid to seal the transfer of Alexis Sanchez in a swap deal this January. The Spanish giants are increasingly keen on adding the Chile international to their ranks for the second half of the season, particularly as he would not be cup-tied in the Champions League. This is according to Don Balon, who suggest Arsenal are likely to accept an offer to bring winger Vazquez to the Emirates Stadium as a decent replacement for the departing Sanchez. With the 28-year-old looking like leaving on a free at the end of the season anyway, the report claims this could be a decent option for Arsenal to make sure they still get something out of the deal. Real Madrid draw PSG in UEFA Champions League Round of 16
Posty posted a topic in Competitii Externe
Real Madrid drew PSG in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 draw which took place in Nyon today. The opening leg will be played at the Bernabeu while the tie will be decided in Paris. Los Blancos are defending the title they conquered last season and will need to play much better if they want to find success this year. Still, they have time to turn things around and gain some momentum ahead of this tie, so Zidane’s men will surely be hoping to improve their performances. All things considered, Real Madrid should probably be considered the favorites to win the tie, but they will still have to work very hard and complete a solid all around performance if they want to be in the next round of the European competition. Mbappe and Neymar are the two players to watch in this tie as they will provide a very tough challenge for Madrid’s defensive line. Source -
WB Games and TT Games have announced Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 and released a teaser for the upcoming sequel. The short video was posted on Facebook and is a riff on the opening sequence from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which hit cinemas recently. Obviously, if you haven't seen that film and want to go in completely fresh we'd recommend avoiding this video. For those that have seen it, we think you'll get what we mean if we say it's that Groot moment from the start. The video also confirms a full-length trailer for the game will be released on May 23. You can watch the teaser above. Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 will no doubt feature characters and plot points from the most recent crop of Marvel movies. However, as you can see in the art below, there will also be some other unexpected characters joining the game, including Spider-Gwen. Read more here!

Barcelona are considering an approach for RB Leipzig duo Dayot Upamecano and Timo Werner as potential replacements for defender Gerard Pique and striker Luis Suarez, according to the Daily Mail. Technical Director Robert Fernandez is believed to have watched the pair in Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Bayern Munich, and Mundo Deportivo report that Barcelona have made the two Leipzig players a priority. Upamecano, signed for £9m from Red Bull Salzburg in January 2017, has been touted as a potential long-term replacement for Gerard Pique. The 19-year-old has made eight Bundesliga appearances for Leipzig, featuring four times in the Champions League this season too. And while Fernandez has identified a future defensive recruit, the Catalan giants are also planning for life with Suarez. Timo Werner, who joined Leipzig from Stuttgart in July 2016 for £9m, has been linked with Barcelona for some time after scoring 21 goals in 31 Bundesliga games last season. Suarez has struggled for goals in 2017/18, scoring just three times in 13 appearances, and will turn 31 in January. The Uruguayan international is contracted until 2021, but Barcelona are keen to bolster their attack and ensure they have enough options when one player may be struggling for form. Upamecano, A French u19 international, is valued at £11m, but Barcelona might be met with some resistance given the centre-back is a regular in the Leipzig first-team. As for Werner, who has scored six goals in eight games for Germany, the 21-year-old is worth£45m. Source

Messi is a huge fan of the forward. Barcelona star Lionel Messi is reportedly pushing for his club to beat Manchester United to one of their top transfer targets as part of their ongoing quest to replace Neymar. The Catalan giants lost their Brazilian forward to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, and Don Balon claim one of the first names Messi suggested for that role was Griezmann. Source

PlayStation: We are happy to confirm that Shadow of the Colossus for PlayStation 4 will launch on February 6, 2018. At the E3 PlayStation conference on Tuesday, Fumito Ueda made us happy by announcing that his legendary Shadow of the Colossus will be back on PS4 soon. It was difficult to know, with the short video, if the man had given a blow of youth to the title or made a clean slate on the past. The president of Sony Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida has since clarified the situation with Famitsu (via Siliconera): this new release is a remake, true to the original but modernized in many ways.
