  1. Yup, traveled a lot in my high school to support my volleyball and basketball teams, it was a good time. It's been a long time since I last stepped in court.
  2. Volleyball it is, been in national team for Volleyball and represented the states in extras. The feel of the smash and the ball is everything!
  3. Movie title: Five Feet Apart Release year: 2019 Genre: Drama & Romance Running time: 116 minutes Short description: Seventeen-year-old Stella spends most of her time in the hospital as a cystic fibrosis patient. Her life is full of routines, boundaries and self-control -- all of which get put to the test when she meets Will, an impossibly charming teen who has the same illness. Trailer: Personal review: Does what it says on the tin and some more. Solid acting and I learned a lot more about CF which hopefully we all do. Yes, it made me cry and will leave you broke in the end if you are sensitive. But do watch it, Cole Sprouse never make you regret watching his movies.
  4. Movie title: The Notebook Release year: 2004 Genre: Drama & Romance Running time: 123 minutes Short description: A poor yet passionate young man falls in love with a rich young woman, giving her a sense of freedom, but they are soon separated because of their social differences. Trailer: Personal review: I absolutely love this movie. Every time I watch the movie makes me feel better.. a heart content feeling. The story is so good, it may be a simple love story but the way it has been told that touches the heart. And such extraordinary performance.. a must watch.
  5. Nickname: Rusher Writer's name: Vladimir Nabokov Writer's birth date: 22nd April 1899 Writer's nationality: Russian-American Reasons why I like the actor: Of course because of his books! They show a spiritually rich man experiencing issues with the vulgarity of the external world. The book that I believe is his best: Lolita (1995)
  6. Movie title: Venom: Let There Be Carnage Release year: 2021 Genre: Action, Sci-Fi Running time: 90 minutes Short description: Eddie Brock attempts to reignite his career by interviewing serial killer Cletus Kasady, who becomes the host of the symbiote Carnage and escapes prison after a failed execution. Trailer: Personal Review: SPOILER ALERT - I just couldn't help it and watched it before it got released in theaters. It was alright. Would have liked more gore.. story was alright. Most of the comedy was meh. Would be nice seeing more of a villain suffer from venom and they could have made carnage more bad... I guess they want to have him meet tom Hollands Spiderman, that doesn't really interest me personally but I'm sure many people would like it. P.S. Don't skip the post credits, if you do, you just missed "THE" thing.

  8. Movie title: Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings Release year: 2021 Genre: Action & Fantasy Running time: 132 minutes Short description: "Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings" stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization. Trailer: Personal review: Keeping it short. This movie had it all. Great story, writing, direction, acting, villain, comedy and fight direction. I'm a huge old school Kung-Fu movies' fan and I was a bit skeptical about how they will show the fight scenes. Glad they kept it authentic with the fight director (who worked with Jackie Chan a lot). It was insane.
  9. Author: David Foster Wallace Book title: This Is Water: Some Thoughts, Delivered on a Significant Occasion, about Living a Compassionate Life Publication year: 2009 Genre: Nonfiction Number of pages: 138 pages Short description: How does one keep from going through their comfortable, prosperous adult life unconsciously? How do we get ourselves out of the foreground of our thoughts and achieve compassion? The speech captures Wallace's electric intellect as well as his grace in attention to others. Personal review: My notes are informal and often contain quotes from the book as well as my own thoughts - The meaning we construct out of life is a matter of personal, intentional choice. It’s a conscious decision
