  1. Larian has officially approved 20 new mods for release on the console versions of Baldur's Gate 3, and they're available to download for free right now. The highlights include a new Baldur's Gate 3 Subrace, various Subclasses, and a powerful variant of God Mode. Larian continued to update Baldur's Gate 3 with new content for a while after its release, but eventually confirmed that its support for the game was largely complete. In the end, the hugely successful RPG received no DLC from its developer, which moved on to its next game. However, it did release an extensive set of Baldur's Gate 3 mod tools, leaving it to talented creators to continue to add new content to the game. On console, these mods need to be vetted and approved by Larian, arriving in fairly regular waves. The latest drop of Baldur's Gate 3 mods on consoles adds 20 new pieces of content to download right now. There are some interesting new Subclasses here for the Paladin and the Monk, as well as a surprising Solo Leveling crossover for any fans of the anime. And for anyone looking forward to the upcoming Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, there's even a hairstyle inspired by none other than protagonist Edward Kenway. These console mod drops typically have something for every type of player to add to their game, so it's worth checking out each of them. For many RPGs, mods play an important role in keeping them alive years after most players have moved on. Perhaps the biggest example of this was Skyrim, which remains active almost 15 years after its release, with a modding community that has managed to completely transform the game. While Larian's own RPG isn't quite there yet, it has made an excellent start, with over 18,000 Baldur's Gate 3 mods on Nexus Mods right now. This makes it eighth on the list of games with the most mods on the platform, achieving this feat less than three years after its release. In time, Baldur's Gate 3's modding community will undoubtedly continue to thrive, with or without the support of Larian. Last year, Larian revealed that it's working on a new Divinity game, returning to its own IP after previously working in Wizards of the Coast's sandbox. The developer claims that it's going to be bigger than Baldur's Gate 3, and expectations for the upcoming CRPG will be sky-high coming on the back of the critical success of its most recent title. sursa
  2. With no official multiplayer mode on the horizon, a modder is taking matters into their own hands and building a multiplayer mod for The Last of Us Part 2. The Last of Us Part 2 released in 2020 to widespread critical acclaim and managed to snag the Game of the Year at that year's Game Awards show. But even though The Last of Us Part 2 was praised for its emotionally-charged single-player campaign, many fans were unhappy that multiplayer was nowhere to be found. The original Last of Us was best known for its single-player experience, with Joel and Ellie's story the main reason behind the game's immense popularity. However, The Last of Us also had a well-received multiplayer component to go along with the single-player experience in the form of Factions. Many fans of the franchise were hoping to see Factions make a comeback in The Last of Us Part 2, but instead they were promised a standalone TLoU multiplayer experience. Unfortunately, that project was canceled, and so there hasn't been a proper Last of Us versus multiplayer in over a decade at this point. The Last of Us Part 2 multiplayer mod will only be available for the PC version of the game, which makes sense, but may still disappointment hardcore fans on PlayStation. Mods are a major reason why some people prefer PC gaming as they open the door to unique experiences like this one, which are not available on consoles, though the sad thing is that future single-player PlayStation games are skipping PC entirely. So while modders are able to release mods for games like The Last of Us Part 2, they won't be able to do the same for future projects like a potential Last of Us Part 3, so hopefully that game has its own built-in multiplayer mode. The Last of Us Part 3 has been hinted at in the past, but an official announcement has yet to take place. Perhaps the work that went into The Last of Us Online could be folded into a potential Part 3 so it could have a Factions-style multiplayer mode to go along with its single-player experience, but who knows what direction it will ultimately take. The fact of the matter is that it's entirely possible there will never be a new official Last of Us multiplayer mode released. If that's the case, it's a good thing that modders like Speclizer are stepping up to build a Last of Us multiplayer experience for fans on PC. It's just a shame that most upcoming PlayStation games will be skipping PC moving forward. Sursa
  3. Lords of the Fallen 2 has been delayed out of 2026, developer-publisher CI Games has confirmed. Nonetheless, the official explanation for the change offers some reason for optimism, partly because Lords of the Fallen 2 already has a new release window that is not too far detached from its previous target. CI Games first mentioned its soulslike sequel in a June 2024 investor report, which still referred to the game by the generic codename "Project 3." More than a year passed before the official Lords of the Fallen 2 reveal at Gamescom Opening Night Live in August 2025. The RPG was announced with a 2026 release window, which the Polish studio later narrowed to the fourth quarter of the year. As ambitious software projects often show, launch targets set more than a few months in advance are inherently tentative, with many variables still in play. Lords of the Fallen 2 has now become the latest testament to that reality, having just been delayed. The news of the delay came directly from CI Games founder and CEO Marek Tyminski. The executive announced the change of plan in a June 23 social media post, stating that Lords of the Fallen 2 is now targeting a Q1 2027 launch. Tyminski cited extra polish as the main reason for the shift. While that explanation is common across the industry, developers do not always explain what it means in practice. Tyminski offered some additional context, saying the studio's internal testers had identified some improvement opportunities worth pursuing that could not be addressed within the original release window. Although CI Games never narrowed the original release target beyond a three-month window, fourth-quarter launch timing is often more predictable than most. That is especially true for bigger-budget games, especially in a year that has the first mainline Grand Theft Auto game launch in 13 years scheduled for November. The GTA 6 effect has already helped turn September 2026 into one of the industry's busiest release months in years, while simultaneously leaving much of the calendar around Rockstar's November 19 launch notably quiet. December has also historically been a lighter month for major game releases, as publishers targeting the holiday shopping season are typically much better served by launching no later than mid-November. Taken together, those factors made October by far the most realistic month for Lords of the Fallen 2 to arrive under CI Games' previous Q4 2026 target.Lords of the Fallen 2 is planned as a day-one release for PC and all mainstream current-generation consoles: the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch 2. The PC version was initially on course to launch as an Epic Games Store exclusive, as Epic had partly financed the project. That expectation changed after Epic and CI Games ended their Lords of the Fallen 2 publishing agreement in 2025, with the Polish studio buying out the deal so it could launch the game on Steam and other digital storefronts. 4. A leaker with a strong record of accuracy alleges that Resident Evil: Veronica and the rumored Resident Evil Zero remake will tie into Resident Evil Requiem. The leak arrives while fans await Resident Evil Requiem DLC, as anticipation for Resident Evil: Veronica rises, and curiosity regarding other Resident Evil remakes abounds.' Resident Evil has largely been on a roll in recent years, with both the remade games and the new arrivals being widely praised and selling well. Given their successes, and the recent reveal of Resident Evil: Veronica arriving as a remake of the classic Code: Veronica game, fans are curious about what else the remake future holds for the franchise, which led to this newly revealed tidbit. Resident Evil leaker Dusk Golem has shared a new piece of information about the upcoming Resident Evil remakes, including Resident Evil: Veronica and Resident Evil Zero, with the latter of the two not yet having been confirmed by Capcom. Dusk Golem responded to a claim that the entire franchise is being remade with the intention of restructuring the narrative, and said that it's not true. However, they did indicate that Resident Evil: Veronica and a Zero remake would tie into Resident Evil: Requiem, but that's largely due to the development process. Resident Evil: Veronica, Resident Evil Requiem, and the rumored Resident Evil Zero remake were allegedly all being worked on at the same time, leading to this connection, which was further reinforced through Requiem's story and its myriad of Easter eggs referencing prior Resident Evil games. With that said, there was some unfortunate news for those fans who are hoping for Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 remakes. Dusk Golem indicates that remakes of those games are not in development, and that there's reportedly no current internal plan to do so. They also note that there isn't an overarching plan to remake every game in the Resident Evil series up to Resident Evil 7, as Capcom is taking the process one step at a time. However, they expect that if sales of the upcoming remakes perform as well as the Resident Evil 2 remake did, then RE 5 and 6 will likely join the list of remakes somewhere down the road. If the rumors turn out to be true, then fans of the survival horror franchise should have a lot to look forward to over the course of the next few years. With 2027's release, it will be interesting to see how Resident Evil: Veronica handles story changes and expansions, including the alleged ties to Resident Evil Requiem. Sursa
  5. Crimson Desert's player count has fallen off a cliff in recent months, falling a whopping 95% from its all-time peak. However, there are plenty of mitigating factors that explain why Crimson Desert isn't attracting anywhere near as many players as it was a few months ago. Following its launch in March 2026, Crimson Desert instantly sold millions of copies, becoming an enormous hit for developer Pearl Abyss. The game received rave reviews from players, who praised its enormous ambition and fun gameplay. As word of mouth continued to spread, the player count rose, eventually peaking at 276,261, according to SteamDB. This happened a few days after its initial release, suggesting that much of it was down to the positive player reception online. In the months that have followed, Crimson Desert has endured a sharp player count decline, falling to just 13,541 at the exact time of writing. This is a 95% decline from its aforementioned peak of 276,261, collapsing hard in just three months. The 2026 open-world game is known for having an abundance of content, but not quite enough to keep players sticking around forever. It's important to note that because Crimson Desert is a single-player game, a significant decline in player count months after its release is standard. Players finish the game and move on. This isn't like a multiplayer live-service game, where its entire existence can depend on how well it retains players long term. However, Crimson Desert was notable for just how well it had been able to retain its player count long beyond what most other single-player titles manage, so it's interesting that the usual effects are finally coming to fruition, albeit delayed. There are a few reasons why Crimson Desert has been able to retain its strong player count until more recently. The first is obvious: scale. Even by modern RPG standards, Crimson Desert is enormous, with tons of content to keep players busy for a long time. The things to do were interesting enough that players were compelled to see them through, ensuring that gamers were hooked long after its release. There's also Pearl Abyss' post-launch support. The developer has continued to release regular Crimson Desert updates, adding new content to the game. Not just bug fixes, but rather, significant additions worthy of loading up the game to see what's new. There's reason to believe that the game could see a big player count resurgence in the future. In addition to ongoing updates, Pearl Abyss has hinted at DLC releases for Crimson Desert that would be even more expansive than the new content arriving via patches. If a significant expansion arrived in the future, it's easy to imagine that players would jump back in, and the Crimson Desert player count would go from strength to strength. Sursa
  6. No Such Place is an extraction shooter on Steam with co-op and PvE that has caught the attention of some fans thanks to its art style, which resembles games like Project Zomboid, and its hardcore gameplay, which feels heavily inspired by Escape from Tarkov. It's fair to say that 2026 has been a solid year for the extraction shooter genre on Steam, with several hits, including Escape from Duckov and ARC Raiders, selling millions of copies. That said, the demand for such games doesn't seem to have subsided. Developed by the Chinese indie studio ChillyRoom, No Such Place takes place in a fictional universe where anomalies and unknown creatures roam quarantined zones. Players assume the role of special agents working for a mysterious agency called the Unknown Research Consortium (U.R.C.). This straightforward premise also supports the gameplay loop, which revolves around entering the map, collecting valuable loot, eliminating threats, and leaving in one piece, a staple of most other extraction shooters. Inventory management is also a key feature in No Such Place. Similar to Escape from Tarkov, players must decide which items are worth carrying to the extraction point and which should be left behind. Simple QoL features, such as item rotation, also make it easier to organize backpacks and inventory slots, turning inventory management into a satisfying experience in its own right. No Such Place Features at a Glance Up to four players in the co-op mode Dedicated single-player mode Weapon customization Large, explorable map Top-down looter shooter gameplay Customizable base and safe house Broken builds with the "Corruption System" No Such Place's pixel-art style and isometric perspective make it comparable to games like Project Zomboid, a hugely popular indie survival game. That said, No Such Place adopts a slightly more goofy and lighthearted tone in its character designs, whereas Project Zomboid leans toward a more realistic presentation. The gunplay, meanwhile, falls into the top-down looter-shooter category and feels similar to games like Escape from Duckov. Its aiming system resembles that of twin-stick shooters, with players using one stick to move and the other to target enemies. One interesting twist is how No Such Place incorporates iron sights and scopes into its top-down gameplay. Aiming down sights actually changes the cursor to reflect the specific optic being used. This is an important feature, as it prevents weapon attachments from becoming a meaningless part of the customization system. Developer ChillyRoom plans to release No Such Place sometime in 2026, though it has not yet confirmed an exact release date. Fortunately, there is already a free playable demo on Steam that curious fans can try to see if the game is worth adding to their wishlist. According to SteamDB data, No Such Place's demo recently peaked at over 3,000 concurrent players, which is already a major success for the small development team. It remains to be seen whether No Such Place can carry this momentum into its full release and become another hit co-op indie game on Steam. Sursa
  7. Pokemon TCG Pocket just revealed its next expansion, titled Everyday Wonders, which is coming on June 29. Pokemon TCG Pocket has been adding new booster packs on a monthly basis, with the last set being Paradox Drive in May. Now, Everyday Wonders promises a handful of new cards with a cutesy theme of pocket monsters having picnics, going out in the open, and enjoying the weather. Pokemon TCG Pocket officially entered its Mega Rising era in October 2025, with the B series booster packs, and the C series will likely come sometime in October of this year to match the game's second anniversary. For now, players can enjoy a plethora of cards to collect and play with, including multiple Mega Evolutions. Several of the Mega Evolutions in Pokemon Legends: Z-A found their way into the mobile game, and more are coming with the Everyday Wonders expansion. Pokemon TCG Pocket's Everyday Wonders booster pack is coming out on June 29 at 6 pm PDT or 9 pm EST. The expansion has a focus on cute Pokemon depicted in cozy moments, as seen with the illustration rare versions of Pikachu, Sylveon, and Piplup. One of the rare cards of the expansion is a Snorlax basking in the sunlight, with common cards including a Hisuian Lilligant in a field of flowers, a Greedent sleeping happily after eating berries, and a Rockruff looking at the rain from behind a window. The expansion will also bring along three events: The Everyday Wonders Emblem Event from early to mid-July, where players can battle to earn shinedust and other items The Community Week event in mid-July, where players will enjoy special missions to get trade hourglasses and other rewards The Hisuian Zorua Drop Event in mid- to late July, where players can play solo battles and get special promos from the B series vol. 10 packs, including Hisuian Zorua, Growlithe, and Emolga The reveal of the illustration rare versions of Pikachu, Sylveon, and Piplup indirectly confirms that these cards will also get a non-rare version with the same stats and text. On top of that, it's only natural that the expansion will include Eevee, Raichu (possibly also Mega Raichu X and Y), Prinplup, Empoleon, Hisuian Zorua, Goomy, Sliggoo, Wooper, Skwovet, Petilil, Arcanine and/or Hisuian Arcanine, Boltund, Lycanroc (possibly with variants), Dachsbun, and Slowbro and/or Slowking. This brings the total cards from 18 revealed to at least 36 confirmed, and up to 42 cards total ahead of release. Recently, Pokemon TCG Pocket hit 200 million downloads, which is a massive milestone to hit after a year and a half since release. While on the smaller side, Everyday Wonders is a cozy, summer-themed expansion that will help the game grow, especially with the addition of Mega Diancie Ex and cute illustration rares. Sursa
  8. Known and trusted Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier has commented on a more precise release date window for God of War Laufey. As many know, Schreier is well-informed and probably the most reliable source in the industry, and he's been commenting on God of War Laufey here and there since its initial reveal. It's worth mentioning that the negative reception online to God of War Laufey's reveal, centered on how it moves away from Kratos and to his wife Laufey, among other complaints, is only a small portion of potential consumers. Many are excited about the upcoming game, and it goes a long way in supporting developer Santa Monica Studio's vision for the franchise. After all, as recently revealed, Santa Monica has been planning God of War Laufey since 2018. In a recent video discussing the upcoming release of GTA 6 and how developers/games are moving to avoid its release, Schreier brought up God of War Laufey (around the 7-minute mark above). In his own words, he stated that he would not be "surprised if God of War Laufey gets announced for February or March 2027 pretty soon." He previously stated that God of War Laufey was not years away from release, pointing toward 2027 as its window, but narrowing it down to two months is even better. And it makes sense. That gives PlayStation the rest of the year to market it and the start of next year to ship it. It seems many studios have deemed February 2027 as the safe zone to begin releasing again, with Metro 2039, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, Persona 4 Revival, and Fable all slated for February 2027 release dates. In the case of Fable, it was all but outright stated that the delay was to avoid GTA 6. Nothing is confirmed for March yet, which may be appealing to Santa Monica just because other delays into February remain possible (although that is also true of March). It's worth pointing out that April could still roughly fit into this window, and it could be appealing as well since God of War 2018 was released in April 2018. Since there are deep connections between God of War 2018 and God of War Laufey, it makes sense to release them both in April. But whenever its release date is, at least according to Schreier, fans may know sooner rather than later. Sursa
  9. Epic Games has just confirmed that skins from the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 Battle Pass will be returning to the live-service shooter, this time as part of the Item Shop. For those unaware, Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 was officially titled 'Absolute Doom', and it was the battle royale's last major crossover season with the Marvel franchise. Along with eight all-new Marvel-themed Fortnite skins and an additional outfit or two for each of them, the Absolute Doom season also gave the Island a major Marvel makeover. An array of new POIs appeared across the map, bringing iconic Marvel locations to the game like Castle Doom, Doomstadt, and The Raft. These map changes were also accompanied by a handful of new Marvel-themed gameplay mechanics, like an assortment of War Machine weaponry that players could use to blast away opponents. Announced via a Twitter post, Epic Games has just announced that the Battle Pass skins of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 are being unvaulted and added to the in-game shop. It's currently unconfirmed which skins will be unvaulted or when exactly they'll arrive in the Fortnite Shop, but here's a full list of every skin that was originally included in the Fortnite Absolute Doom Battle Pass: Gwenpool War Machine Peelverine Emma Frost Captain Jones Mysterio Shuri Doctor Doom The first instance of a Fortnite Battle Pass skin losing its exclusivity came back in May. To mark the game's Star Wars-themed May 4 celebrations, Fortnite's Captain Phasma skin came to the Item Shop for the very first time. This skin was initially only available as part of Fortnite's First Order LEGO Pass, which made its debut in May 2025. If the Captain Phasma skin is any indication, then fans can probably expect to pay around 1,500 V-Bucks for each of the returning Fortnite Absolute Doom Battle Pass skins. Bundles may also be available that include the skin and any accompanying emotes, pickaxes, and gliders. The Fortnite Captain Phasma bundle cost 2,000 V-Bucks when it appeared in the Item Shop in May. Last week, during Epic Games' State of Unreal event, the company confirmed a slew of collaborations that are heading to Fortnite in the near future. This list of upcoming Fortnite crossovers included Dave the Diver (which is set to hit Fortnite on June 25), Sonic Racing CrossWorlds, Vampire Survivors, Phantom Blade Zero, Rick and Morty, and Control Resonant. An Olivia Rodrigo skin has also been confirmed for summer 2026. Sursa
  10. As more news continues to roll out about Grand Theft Auto 6, Rockstar has confirmed that the game will tell its story through chapters, like Red Dead Redemption 2 before it. The developer has given little away about GTA 6's story, but this is just a small hint of what is to come. It has been an extremely long wait for Grand Theft Auto 6, which, by the time of the game's planned release date, will be more than 13 years since the previous game in the series. However, with its November 19, 2026, release date seemingly locked in (for real this time), the wait is almost over. Upon release, Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected to be the biggest game launch of all time by some margin, despite not initially planning to release on PC. The marketing for the game is finally ramping up as the long-awaited date draws ever closer. GTA 6 Story Has Chapters, Just Like RDR2 Following the reveal of GTA 6's Ultimate Edition details, one line about the extras has inadvertently revealed a key detail about the game's story. Rockstar says that these additions "are threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia's story, with new items uncovered behind each chapter." The important word here is "chapter," seemingly confirming that the Red Dead Redemption 2 feature is making its way to GTA 6. Previous Grand Theft Auto titles have avoided the chapter system adopted first by Red Dead Redemption 2, making GTA 6 the first game in the series to do so. In RDR2, it allowed the narrative time to build in a structured way, and moved the player around the map in a way that felt natural. RDR2's map was enormous, and at this point, GTA 6's map size remains unclear, so it's not known whether Rockstar intends to do the same with its upcoming game. The fact that players drive cars rather than ride horses in Grand Theft Auto makes navigating the map much quicker, which also makes it more difficult to restrict players to particular areas of the map. It will be interesting to see how these chapters manifest, whether it be in changes to the map or even potential time jumps. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has previously indicated that Grand Theft Auto 6's marketing will ramp up this summer, which officially began on June 21. It's fair to say that the company has been true to its word, and gamers can expect to see plenty more of the game between now and November 19, 2026. Sursa
  11. New creature-collecting games are announced all the time, but few wear their inspirations on their sleeves as openly as MonCraft 199X. At first glance, the newly revealed indie game on Steam looks like a love letter to classic Pokemon, complete with a retro aesthetic that feels pulled straight from the late 1990s. At the same time, the description and gameplay put it closer to a game like Palworld, giving fans a unique new entry in the genre on Steam. Its Steam page suggests it's all of that and a little more. It has Pokemon vibes and Palworld's survival crafting gameplay, but it also has 8-player support, its own unique progression systems, its own unique "Mons," and more. No doubt, Moncraft 199X would feel familiar to play, but not like the various Pokemon clone games out there. Moncraft 199X Features at a Glance Retro-inspired visuals with modern gameplay systems Massive open world Capture, train, evolve, and battle unique cMons Up to 8-player online multiplayer Equippable badges that give your trainer new abilities Day/night cycle affects Mon spawns Build, customize, and decorate your own base Deep crafting, scavenging, and resource management Available on Steam According to developer Lowe Bros. Studios, MonCraft 199X takes place in an alternate timeline where the Y2K bug wasn't just a technology scare. Instead, civilization collapsed, corruption spread, and Mon arose. If it's not obvious, Mon is to Moncraft what Pals are to Palworld and Pokemon are to Pokemon. Generally speaking, creature collectors end up being general fantasy settings, but Moncraft 199X raises the stakes with a post-apocalyptic premise. The Pokemon inspiration is impossible to ignore. Players can capture, train, evolve, and battle Mon throughout their journey, with creature collection serving as one of the game's core pillars. Even visually, MonCraft 199X feels designed to evoke memories of Pokemon's earliest generations. The pixel-art presentation and overworld all point toward the Game Boy and Game Boy Color era of Pokemon games, with some of the visuals also taking cues from the design ethos of towns in Pokemon. However, that's pretty much the extent there and also where the Palworld comparisons become obvious. Moncraft 199X's Open World and Survival Crafting Gameplay Unsurprisingly, Moncraft 199X features resource gathering, scavenging, crafting, equipment upgrades, and character progression among its major features. Instead of simply moving from battle to battle, players will need to collect materials, improve their gear, and build up their abilities over time. Moncraft 199X has yet to detail these features in full, beyond the Mon involvement, but it'll be interesting to see its take on these gameplay features in a creature-collecting game. That said, building and crafting is another major component of the experience. Players can create and customize homes, ranches, and secret bases throughout the world, allowing them to establish their own corner of the wasteland. Base-building has become one of the defining features of many successful survival games in recent years, and MonCraft 199X seems eager to embrace that trend (even if that makes it harder not to think of Palworld). All of this is, of course, wrapped up in its open-world game features. Players have a plethora of PoIs that have been shown and detailed, ranging from towns to abandoned locations, left-behind landmarks, dungeons, crime zones, and more. In all of this will be Mon spawns and a dynamic day-and-night cycle that influences them. It is not yet known if MonCraft 199X features a special level of rarity like in Palworld or Pokemon's Shinies, but as a staple of the genre, it has to be assumed. At the time of writing, MonCraft 199X does not have a release date but can be wishlisted on Steam. For fans of classic Pokemon and Palworld, MonCraft 199X is worth a wishlist. Sursa
  12. ARC Raiders has warned that players involved in item duplication attempts could face strict action, while also announcing that Denuvo Anti-Cheat is set to play a larger role in monitoring its multiplayer experience. One of the first such exploits emerged when players discovered a way to duplicate weapons and ammo, which ultimately made ARC Raiders' PvP unplayable for some people for a while. When duplication glitches in ARC Raiders peaked, Embark Studios announced the first wave of strict action against players who had "excessively" abused them. However, similar exploits have continued to circulate among players, seemingly prompting Embark Studios to tighten its rules. On June 16, 2026, Embark Studios released update 1.33.0 for ARC Raiders, bringing a list of minor changes and bug fixes. The patch notes also included an announcement regarding item duplication glitches, signaling stricter action against players who abuse them. "We have been focusing on addressing item duplication and taking strict measures against those involved," the patch notes stated. "As part of our ongoing efforts against unfair play," Embark Studios added, "we're continuing to expand Denuvo Anti-Cheat to more players." Similar to the Swedish studio's previous warnings, the new statement does not explain how these "strict" actions affect flagged players. However, a quick look at Embark Studios' EULA, specifically the Ban and Enforcement Policy section, shows that the developer considers "exploiting bugs or glitches for unfair advantage" a form of misconduct that can result in temporary or permanent bans. That said, bans have been a tricky subject in ARC Raiders, as Embark Studios has a track record of penalizing players unjustifiably, such as banning players who were only using accessibility-style controllers. To be fair, Embark Studios' recent announcement suggests that the strict actions will result from a more thorough process. "It's detailed, methodical work, and we truly appreciate your patience while we see it through," the developer note said. However, it remains to be seen whether a slow process will have the deterrent effect needed to stop ARC Raiders players from exploiting bugs and glitches. The game also currently has several other glitches, such as wall-hack issues, that may require similar treatment, though it remains to be seen whether they will also trigger more strict actions. The studio has also announced a new in-game message aimed at informing players who report cheaters and keeping them updated on the enforcement team's actions. Players will receive an "Action Notice" whenever their report results in action from the development team, such as a ban issued to the reported player. They will also continue receiving loot compensation messages, which notify them about items returned to their inventory after being lost to an identified ARC Raiders cheater. For now, fans will need to wait for more updates from the development team to see how the actions against glitch exploiters affect ARC Raiders PvP. Embark Studios has adjusted the cadence of its updates, spacing major content releases further apart. As a result, the next major wave of changes for ARC Raiders is expected in October 2026, while the studio continues to roll out bug-fixing patches and hotfixes in the meantime. sursa
  13. The very first officially-licensed KPop Demon Hunters LEGO set has just been announced, and it's set to release on August 1, 2026. This first LEGO KPop Demon Hunters set will give fans brick-built versions of the adorable Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird duo. Released on Netflix back in June 2025, KPop Demon Hunters became something of an overnight sensation. Just a month after its debut, Netflix confirmed that KPop Demon Hunters had become the platform's most watched original animated movie of all time, and a month after that, it had risen to become the platform's most-watched film overall. As of December 2025, KPop Demon Hunters had received over 500 million views on Netflix. Given that KPop Demon Hunters was a surprise smash hit, fans have had to wait patiently for official merch to release. But now, almost a year after its debut, fans have just been given their first look at LEGO's upcoming KPop Demon Hunters range. Set to release on August 1, fans can now pre-order the LEGO Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird KPop Demon Hunters set via LEGO's website. This set will contain a total of 825 pieces and will retail for $69.99. With those 825 pieces, fans will be able to create cute blocky versions of these beloved KPop Demon Hunters demonic creatures. While the Sussie Bird build can rotate its head and move its feet, the LEGO Derpy Tiger will feature movable legs and paws, and a posable head. This upcoming LEGO Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird set will be just the first in a new wave of LEGO KPop Demon Hunters sets. Back in February, LEGO announced an official collaboration with Netflix and the KPop Demon Hunters IP. In the original press release, LEGO mentioned that one set would be listed for pre-order in the Spring, with "additional sets" due for release in 2027. There's no official information just yet on what these additional LEGO KPop Demon Hunters sets could look like, or when specifically in 2027 they could release. It's also unclear if these sets will feature minifigures or the mini-dolls introduced in 2012 with the LEGO Friends theme. While LEGO's mini-dolls have been used in the Friends, Disney Princess, and more recently, Wicked themes, LEGO KPop Demon Hunters minifigure designs have technically already appeared as alternate skins in Fortnite's LEGO game mode. 14. A new roguelike bullet heaven game on Steam, called Arms of God, blends Brotato's progression system with a Doom- and Diablo-inspired universe, and it already has Very Positive reviews. Brotato is an autoshooter with cartoony visuals and a lighthearted and comical tone. Arms of God, meanwhile, takes Brotato's gameplay formula, strips away the art style, and places it in a dark, gothic setting. Arms of God is another solo developer success story on Steam. Dominik Sójka spent the past four years working on the game alone, though its recent success prompted him to bring two more developers onto the project. Together, the three-person team behind Arms of God now operates as Dark Jay Studio, and its debut title is already gaining traction on Steam among fans of the bullet heaven genre. Released in early access on Steam on June 8, 2026, Arms of God has accumulated nearly 1,000 user reviews as of this writing, with an overall rating of Very Positive. Dark Jay Studio describes the game as a fresh take on Brotato, but with "actual lore, giant gothic cathedral, and demons," starring a futuristic Templar wielding a holy superweapon. Arms of God's Steam page sheds light on the inspiration behind its world-building, describing the game as a "roguelite bullet heaven arena autoshooter with Doom-esque gore vibes, metal music, and a satisfying combat feel." The character designs also appear to draw heavily from id Software's iconic shooter series. At the same time, the isometric camera perspective and flashy combat effects across hellish environments are likely to remind many players of the Diablo franchise. The game's lore also leans into religious themes, adding another similarity between Arms of God and Blizzard's long-running action RPG series. In Brotato, players experience a bullet heaven gameplay loop split into a series of short stages. Each run feels like a collection of quick sessions, where the goal is to survive enemy waves, eliminate as many foes as possible, and gather XP. Arms of God follows a similar formula. The game features 60 handcrafted levels, each with its own enemies, bosses, and objectives. Arms of God also features a supporter pack on Steam for around $13 USD. While the pack does not include any gameplay-affecting bonuses, it offers basic character customization options. The developer also plans to expand the bundle with additional content in future updates. Sursa
  15. It's the end of the road for Assassin's Creed Shadows, but Ubisoft appears to be making sure the game goes out with a bang with this final content update. It's an exciting month for fans of Ubisoft's popular action adventure series, with Black Flag Resynced right around the corner, and the final content update arriving for Assassin's Creed Shadows. The Assassin's Creed franchise, especially the more recent entries in the long-running series, are no strangers to plenty of support, both with quality of life updates and additional content. While it may not have gotten quite the length of post-launch content that fans may have wanted, Assassin's Creed Shadows has seen many impactful updates, bringing major changes to the parkour system, adding new quests, rewards, and even a big expansion which took players to a completely new location called Awaji Island. Still, it's a bit of a bittersweet situation as the final content update arrives on June 16, bringing plenty of new content but also signaling the end of the journey. With the final Assassin's Creed Shadows update scheduled for June 16, Ubisoft is giving players a deeper look at what's coming to the game. In terms of content, one of the biggest additions is an endgame activity called Domains. Ubisoft calls this mode an "Animus-bending" activity that will have different modifiers added in to ensure replayability each time a player dives into it. It features five different maps, remixed from the base game, and challenges players to hone their builds across 10 difficulty settings. However, Domains aren't the only piece of the puzzle. Update 1.1.11 also features the game's final free story chapter called Black Tides. According to the associate game director, Black Tides represents the final story quest for both Naoe and Yasuke's journey, and it will put them into direct conflict with two high-ranking Templars known as the Black Cross. The duo have arrived in Japan specifically to hunt down the Assassin's Creed Shadows protagonists due to the trouble they have caused the organization, though it is hinted at that they may have ulterior motives as well. The trailer even teases the potential appearance of Assassin's Creed Odyssey's Kassandra as well. It's worth noting that this final mission won't just appear and has some pre-requisites that need to be completed first. Specifically, players will need to have completed the main campaign, while also finishing previously released DLC story drops like A Critical Encounter, which saw Assassin's Creed Shadows collaborate with voice actor and Critical Role member Robbie Daymond. Keep in mind that the Claws of Awaji expansion isn't necessary to see the "true" ending of Assassin's Creed Shadows. Sursa
