After adding a raft of new AI tools to older phones in May, Samsung is preparing a new camera and AI feature boost for several Galaxy devices through its One UI 6.1.1 update. In a post (translated) on the company’s community forums, a Samsung representative explained that several new features, that are currently exclusive to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, will be rolled out to older phones. These include the Galaxy S22 range, the S23 range (including the S23 FE), the Galaxy S24 range, the Flip 4 and Fold 4, the Fold 5 and Flip 5, Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S9. Rezumatul paginilor web, întrucât funcționează și pe limba română, ar trebui sa devină cea mai utilizată funcție Galaxy AI. Samsung Browser este al treilea cel mai utilizat browser pe acest blog, de exemplu. Apoi, funcția de traducere (Interpreter în original) este de asemenea îmbunătățită, iar acum poate folosi ecranul exterior. There’s plenty to say about Samsung’s new wearable, the Galaxy Ring. It’s a low-key way to track heart health, blood oxygen levels, and sleep metrics without wearing a honker of a smartwatch. It’s water-resistant enough to take swimming, and if you ovulate, the ring, coupled with Samsung Health, can better predict your cycle based on variance in skin temperature. But wearing the ring and getting its benefits depends on whether you get the correct size from the get-go. When Samsung sent Gizmodo’s Galaxy Ring review unit in size 10, it was just as I expected. The ring was loose on all ten of my fingers, including both thumbs. I set up the ring anyway, expecting I’d balloon up again enough to justify the size. I wore it for a day and a night. My fingers stayed slender. The morning after, I’d noticed that I’d been clutching onto the Galaxy Ring in my sleep. By the afternoon, I wasn’t gesturing as freely as usual while wearing it because it felt too loose. So, I took it off and emailed Samsung to swap me out for a smaller size. If you’re buying the Galaxy Ring and you fluctuate in size, order closer to when you typically puff up so that you can use the sizing kit and give yourself at least two nights of sleep with it. Some early Galaxy Buds 3 Pro owners reported quality control issues with the earbuds, including the ear tips being easily torn. Users subsequently noted that Samsung delayed the product’s release date on its own website to August 28 while Amazon removed the listing altogether. The news comes shortly after Samsung Korea issued a statement to buyers in its domestic market, apologizing for any quality control issues with the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. Samsung’s Korean statement also noted that it’ll conduct a thorough inspection of the earbuds ahead of the July 24 launch date, but didn’t mention a delay. Nevertheless, the company’s latest statement confirms a delay in deliveries to retailers, which will affect customers. In fact, Android Authority reader Tim Furdui shared a screenshot of an email sent to him, confirming a likely delay in Galaxy Buds 3 Pro orders. The AirPods Pro 2 uses silicon tips to fit into your ears (with four sizes to choose from), similar to the ones you're probably familiar with in most earbuds you've used. In a first for Samsung, its new earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, have stems just like Apple's AirPods. The new buds skew more premium, but their "blade" designs give them a more generic look than previous Galaxy Buds models. Both are available now for preorder and will ship on or after July 24. If you preorder them before July 23, you get a free case. If you shop on Amazon, you can score yourself a pretty good Prime Day deal. Both models are now $30 off with the open-style Buds 3 priced at $180 and the Buds 3 Pro going for $250. Both models come with a clip case as well so you can take them with you anywhere. Similar to the AirPods, these are designed for people who don't like having ear tips jammed in their ears and prefer to hear the outside world. They're lightweight and comfortable and fit my ears a little more securely than the AirPods 3. Both the Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro feature pinch controls like the latest AirPods (I liked their pinch controls) along with swipe controls to adjust volume levels. Both models also have ear-detection sensors that pause your audio when you take a bud out of your ear and resume playback when you put the bud back in. Finally, you can issue voice commands to control music playback without touching the buds. As open earbuds allow ambient sound to leak into your ears and don't offer a tight seal, bass performance can be an issue. The Galaxy Buds 3 has a single 11mm dynamic driver. Their sound quality won't be as good as the Buds 3 Pro's, but it will hopefully measure up well compared to what you get with other premium open earbuds. SOURCE

There are four main upgrades from the Watch 6 to the Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra: faster Exynos, doubled storage, tripled LEDs in the bottom health sensors, and dual-band GPS. The first two are welcome but predictable for an annual upgrade, while the last two's value is somewhat subjective. Are the old Watch 6 HR and GPS data good enough that you can wait to upgrade, or do Wear OS athletes need the upgrade? The Garmin watch was set to SatIQ mode, which starts with GPS-only to save battery but jumps into dual-band mode if the signal encounters blockage. In theory, the Galaxy Watch Ultra stays in dual-band mode by default, which would be more reliable. In this test, the Galaxy Watch Ultra's dual-band GPS map did better than Garmin's SatIQ map. On an out-and-back route, Samsung stuck more consistently to the running path while Garmin drifted outwards off the path. And at one early point where I was running in the street past some construction, Samsung better captured the moment where I stopped and turned to watch cars go by. As for heart rate, Samsung mostly matched the HR monitor's peaks and valleys but lagged slightly behind during rapid changes. While the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Z Fold6 have been the center of attention for the last couple of weeks, it's perhaps time to turn our heads to the upcoming Galaxy S25 lineup as rumors will likely intensify in the coming months. One of the top tipsters of everything Samsung-related suggests that the Ultra will get a design overhaul. In fact, word on the street is that Samsung has already finalized the design of all three members of the Galaxy S25 family. The S25 Ultra is said to have an asymmetrical frame design to help with the grip. Reportedly, the frame toward the back panel is more rounded to help with the grip, while the front will be straighter. This will also make the bezels look thinner, although we aren't exactly sure how that would be achieved. The handset's width will be retained, and the side frame will be narrower in general. This is partially in line with an earlier rumor about a design change back in late June. While. this may be a good design choice, we believe the main issue, when it comes to ergonomics, is the sharp corners of the S24 Ultra. They make the device feel much bigger than it is, at least compared to other 6.8-inch smartphones. In any case, it's a nice change of pace and we are eager to see how the new design will affect ergonomics and usability. SOURCE
