  • Temple LS - Market LS
  • Market LS - Verdant Bluffs LS
  • Santa Maria Beach LS - Verdant Bluffs LS
  • Verona Beach LS - Verdant Bluffs LS
  • Santa Maria Beach LS - Flint Intersection LS* (*Flint aparține SFPD, conform «acestui sondaj»)
  • Julius Thruway South LV - The Strip LV
  • alte asemenea

• EXEMPLU:
  • 10:02:02 ∙ /d Radar în Back o' Beyond SF? [1/3]
  • 10:02:12 ∙ /d Radar în Back o' Beyond SF? [2/3]
  • 10:02:22 ∙ /d Radar în Back o' Beyond SF? [3/3]

• EXEMPLU:
  • 10:02:02 ∙ /d Radar în The Strip LV? [1/3]
  • 10:02:12 ∙ /d Radar în The Strip LV? [2/3]
  • 10:02:22 ∙ /d Radar în The Strip LV? [3/3]

  • 10:02:02 ∙ /d LVPD, pot amplasa radar în The Strip LV? [1/3]
  • 10:02:12 ∙ /d LVPD, pot amplasa radar în The Strip LV? [2/3]

[2] Amenda

Dar vei putea să-i confiști permisul.

• urmărirea și arestarea suspecților cu wanted 1 - 2 cu drept de predare la rang 2 și 3;
• urmărirea și omorârea suspecților fără drept de predare la rang 4+;

[Atacarea unui polițist • wanted 3]

Dacă un civil fără wanted te atacă ⤵

• lovindu-ți caracterul: de 4 ori cu mâinile goale/ picioarele/ orice obiect fără gloanțe care-ți poate provoca daune, ori te-a împușcat o dată, ori ți-a scăzut HP călcându-te cu un vehicul;
• lovindu-ți vehiculul: de 4 ori cu mâinile goale/ picioarele/ orice obiect fără gloanțe care-ți poate provoca daune, ori te-a împușcat o dată;

This guide contains information from «Department General Rules»,  «PD Internal Rules», as well as «Wanted, Arrest and Ticket list». The purpose of this topic is to make sure the rules are well understood and applied correctly as well as to clarify some unwritten rules that are respected by department members.

Any doubts regarding the rules can be addressed on the server, in the «Doubts» topic on the forum or in the faction's Discord Server (contact the higher-ups for an invite).

  I. Roads Team

✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦

[1] Obligations

Once you joined SFPD, you will be assigned to the Roads team, with the duty to supervise order on the streets of San Andreas by patrolling, radar placing and standing watch.

1.1 | Patrolling consist of crossing the streets of a city and punishing players that commit one of the following:

• illegal driving, traffic disturbance, usage of NOS, usage of Hydraulics or driving with an Alcohol Level of 3.0 or higher, headlights off between 20:00 and 08:00 (all these while moving on a public road
• illegal parking (on a public road)
• repeat of an action mentioned above while the player has already a suspended driver's license (in the minutes remaining after a suspended license)

1.2 | Placing a radar consist in setting a speed limit in an area and punishing players who break the aforementioned limit.

• DO NOT punish those who break the limit by  1 - 2 km/h.
• You can punish those who break the limit by exactly 50, 51, 52 km/h.

1.3 | Standing Watch consists of either waiting in an area chosen by you or by moving on a single street/area to punish drivers (ex: only a street in the entire city, a bridge etc.).

1.4 | Patrolling and radar are not conected. You cannot patrol with an approval to place a radar and you can't place a radar with the approval to patrol.

1.5 | It is forbidden to place the radar too close to a colleague's. We do not have a minimum mandatory distance, but even with the naked eye you can easily understand when you are (not) in a good place.

• Since the system does not allow players to pass through two radars in less than 60 seconds, it is allowed for two radars to be active simultaneously including in these areas:

  • Temple LS - Market LS
  • Market LS - Verdant Bluffs LS
  • Santa Maria Beach LS - Verdant Bluffs LS
  • Verona Beach LS - Verdant Bluffs LS
  • Santa Maria Beach LS - Flint Intersection LS* (*Flint belongs to SFPD, according to «this poll»)
  • Julius Thruway South LV - The Strip LV
  • other similar

[1.7] Patrolling in Los Santos and Las Venturas

🔸 Step 1: you ask three times on [/d] if you can patrol, with a pause of at least 10 seconds between the messages

• EXAMPLE:
  • 10:02:02 ∙ /d LSPD, may I patrol in LS? [1/3]
  • 10:02:12 ∙ /d LSPD, may I patrol in LS? [2/3]
  • 10:02:22 ∙ /d LSPD, may I patrol in LS? [3/3]

➢ You can formulate it in your own style, but ask correctly.

🔸 Step 2:

• SITUATION 1: you receive the permission to patrol and announce on [/d] that you started doing so
• SITUATION 2: you do not receive any answer, wait 10 seconds from the last message and then you announce on [/d] you started patrolling the city
• SITUATION 3: your request is denied, only if the department in question has a solid reason to do so, then you are not allowed to patrol the city

[1.8] Placing a radar

| 1.8.1 |

SAN FIERRO

🔸 Step 1: you ask three times on [/d] if the area is available, with a pause of at least 10 seconds between the messages

• EXAMPLE:
  • 10:02:02 ∙ /d Radar in Back o' Beyond SF? [1/3]
  • 10:02:12 ∙ /d Radar in Back o' Beyond SF? [2/3]
  • 10:02:22 ∙ /d Radar in Back o' Beyond SF? [3/3]

➢ You can formulate it in your own style, but ask correctly.

➢ If you don't know what the area in which you want to place radar is called, you can go there and use the [/whereiam] command.

🔸 Step 2:

• SITUATION 1: the requested area is occupied and you must search for another one (by being in SF it means you do not have to wait 5 minutes from an area to another)
• SITUATION 2: the requested area is available, you announce on [/d] that you are placing a radar

| 1.8.2 |

LOS SANTOS and LAS VENTURAS

🔸 Step 1: you ask three times on [/d] if the area is occupied/free, with a pause of at least 10 seconds between the messages

• EXEMPLU:
  • 10:02:02 ∙ /d Radar in The Strip LV? [1/3]
  • 10:02:12 ∙ /d Radar in The Strip LV? [2/3]
  • 10:02:22 ∙ /d Radar in The Strip LV? [3/3]

➢ You can formulate it in your own style, but ask correctly.

➢ If you don't know what the area in which you want to place radar is called, you can go there and use the [/whereiam] command.

🔸 Step 2:

• SITUATION 1: you are denied with a solid reason and must wait 5 minutes before asking about another area
• SITUATION 2: the requested area is available, then you start requesting permission to place a radar in the city the area is from by asking 3 times on [/d], with 10 seconds between the messages
  • 10:02:02 ∙ /d LVPD, may I place radar in The Strip LV? [1/3]
  • 10:02:12 ∙ /d LVPD, may I place radar in The Strip LV? [2/3]
  • 10:02:22 ∙ /d LVPD, may I place radar in The Strip LV? [3/3]

➢ If you get the permission you announce on [/d] that you are placing a radar.

➢ If you do not get any answer, you wait 60 seconds and then announce on [/d] that you are placing a radar.

[2] Ticket

2.1 | It is applied only to players with a real level of at least 4. The real level is the level you would have if you would use all the respect points available to advance in level.

• LEVEL 1 - 3: nothing
• LEVEL 4 - 7: ticket OR suspension of the driving license
• LEVEL 8+: ticket AND suspension of the driving license

• PLEASE NOTE:
  • if at levels 4 - 7 the player chooses the ticket and the real level is proved to be 8+ (check in chat the ticket message), you also suspend the driving license on the spot
  • if the real level is 4 - 7 and the player chooses the ticket, pays it, and in short time commits another crime (the same one or one that also requires license suspension), you are allowed to stop that player again and suspend his driving license for the second crime without the right to choose what punishment he wants

2.3 | The player punished with wanted for 'disobeying orders' or 'disconnect in pursuit' will not receive a ticket for the crime you were chasing him for, even if he gets out of prison, but you will be allowed to confiscate his driving license if required.

4.1.1 | If you found drugs, you are not allowed to confiscate them or give the player a wanted level, your job is to announce on [/d] that the player has drugs and a SWAT member will take care of him.

4.2 | It is forbidden to frisk someone who is in an active poker game. If they are not at a table, you are allowed to use [/frisk] and give wanted. If you had a chance to frisk the player and they ran to a poker table to abuse the aforementioned immunity, you can report them on the «website», with evidence, for non-rp behaviour.

[1] Obligations

1.1 | Once promoted to rank 2, you can submit a «transfer request» in the SWAT team, who deal with

• chasing and arresting suspects with a wanted level of 1 - 2 and the right to surrender at ranks 2 and 3;
• chasing and killing suspects without the right to surrender at rank 4+;
• frisking players and confiscation of illegal objects (materials, drugs and weapons) based on the rules.

➢ If there are no players with wanted 1 and 2 with the right to surrender, on the Wanted List, you will have to make a screenshot to prove this and then you are allowed to chase suspects with wanted 3 and 4 with the right to surrender, and then 5 and 6 with the right to surrender.

1.2 | In addition, at ranks 2 and 3 you are allowed to:

• chase and arrest suspects with a wanted level of 3+ if they meet the following criteria simultaneously: the wanted was given by you and the suspects has the right to surrender.

• arrest suspects with a wanted level of 3 or more with the right to surrender when they come and surrender to you, with the condition to [/cuff] them on the spot and request approval 3 times on [/d] with at least 10 seconds between the messages, mentioning: name or id, approximative area and wanted level. It is required that the person that gives you the permission to arrest the player has the jurisdiction over that type of suspect. III. Others

✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦✦

[1] Both teams

[Objects confiscation]

Will be conducted only when needed, not for fun or not in abusive situations. Also it is forbidden to confiscate items in non-roleplay situations (when you parachute, when you are under a vehicle, when both of you are in moving vehicles etc.).

[Wanted]

[Prank 112 Call • wanted 1]

Because wanted with the right to surrender can overlap, you are allowed to give this punishment to suspects with the right to surrender that misuse the command [/emergency].

Ideally will be to be very careful to the conditions in which every call is made. These are some of the possible situations regarding emergency calls:

MESSAGE	EXPLANATION
by mistake (RO: din greșeală)	You verify the caller's level and you see that is is low (3 as an example), which tells you that the caller is a newbie, most probably unfimiliar with our systems. So instead of being greedy and punish the player for a point in your activity report and ruin a new player's experience, you can leave him alone until he learns.
drives really fast (RO: conduce cu viteză)	On this server reckless driving is punishable by the roads team. In this situation you will not punish the caller with wanted.
I was raped (RO: m-a violat)	On this server this action is not punnishable by cops or the system. In this situation you are allowed to punish the caller with wanted.
I was kidnapped / abducted (RO: m-a răpit)	You must verify in person, do not base your evidence on the call to give wanted for 'kidnapping a civilian'.   SITUATION 1: a gang member is abducted by another gang member. You will not intervene in this situation.   SITUATION 2: the reported abductor is not a gang member, so a false alarm has been raised and you can punish the caller with wanted. We recommend «this complaint» as a very useful hint.   SITUATION 3: you stop the driver and use the command [/untie] on the passenger. If the message „You untied <player name>”, appears you will punish the abductor.

~ We will periodically update this list of calls to keep up with all newly encountered situations. ~

[Cop Attack • wanted 3]

If a civilian without a wanted level attacks you ⤵

• by hitting your character: 4 times with their fists/legs/any object without bullets that can cause damage, if they shot you once or cause damage by driving over you with a vehicle.
• by hitting your vehicle: 4 times with their fists/legs/any object without bullets that can cause damage, if they shot your vehicle once.

⤷ you can give them wanted 'cop attack'.

• Remember that you can kill the player before giving the wanted level because in that situation your priority is to save your life. If they kill you, you will not give the suspect wanted anymore because the system will punish them automatically.

➢ If the player that attacks you has a wanted level with the right to surrender, they will lose their right to surrender automatically and you will be allowed to kill them in self defense.

➢ If a civilian attacked you while you were off-duty and they didn't have a wanted level, you are allowed to give them wanted 'cop attack' in maximum 5 minutes. You are not allowed to give this wanted on top of any other wanted level.

[Pickpocketing a cop • wanted 3]

This punishment is given only when the civilian succesfully, by using [/pickpocket], steals a sum of money from the cop (you will see it in chat). If they tried to pickpocket you and failed you can mostly laugh at them.

[Cop Kill • wanted 5]

Once given, it is forbidden to delete it.

If you were killed by a civilian while you were off-duty and they didn't have a wanted level, you can punish them with wanted 'cop attack' in maximum 5 minutes. You are not allowed to give this wanted on top of any other wanted level.

[Accomplice • wanted 6]

It is given to the driver that is transporting a suspect and refuses to listen to the orders given by the cops. [with summons]

It is given to the driver that is transporting a suspect that is actively shooting at cops with firearms. [without summons]

It is given to the driver that is transporting an escaping convict. [without summons]

It is given to the player that is disturbing a cop that is trying to arrest or kill a suspect. [depending on the situation you can decide if it is necessary give the wanted with (or without) summons]

[Runner • wanted 6]

It is given when the suspect doesn't surrender after 3 summons and runs with a vehicle.

It is given (without summons) if the suspect steals your vehicle when you are trying to arrest them.

It is given when the suspect runs with a vehicle regardless of the answer they gave to the cop before.

It is given when the suspect abuses the following rule to steal your bike:

In case you are chasing a suspect to arrest them using any type of motorbike, and the suspect says they cannot get on the bike, you are required to unlock the vehicle to give them the chance to get on as a passenger.

[3] SWAT

[Wanted]

[Kidnapping a civilian • wanted 3]

It is done by gang members by using the command [/tie], and cops that intervene must prove the kidnapping. Our recommendation is to stop the driver and use the command [/untie] on the passenger, and if the message „You untied <player name>”,  appears you will punish the kidnapper.

If a gang member is kidnapping another gang member, the cops will NOT intervene. It is their problem, not ours.

[Drugs Possession/Use • wanted 3]

It is given only when you see on [/frisk] that a civilian owns drugs or when they use them next to you. It is important to have clear evidence.
