@ The full name is Adobe Photoshop. It can be used to edit both moving (.GIF) and non-moving (.JPG, .PNG.) images.There are many versions out there but it's best to get the latest version. Personally, I am using the CS6 version. Try to torrent for them (Google 'torrent' if you don't know what I mean). I can't give you a link as I'm not sure if it's legal or not in this forum.

When you want to make a gif, you need to first of all find a suitable one which is able to be put on the B-Zone forums. When you have said Photoshop version program, you can just press "File>Open" and click on it, the program automatically sorts all the frames and layers most of the time (rare to see it not), then you simply edit it the way you want.

 

For PNG files, just create a new canvas and then when you press "Save as", hit the menu (automatically set to default on PSD file, which means photoshop design i.e a project file) and press ".png".

P.S: If you find this hard as you're beginning, because trust me, it takes a long time to master it sucessfully, you can always just request an amazing picture probably 50 times better than what you were thinking of from the "Designer's" section. Have fun dude.

There is many ways to save it as this format:

 

1 - By using Photoshop ( i am using Cs 5 and i think that it's good ).

 

2 - By using other programs to convert the format.
