The original cast of Jurrasic Park unites in a fun photo posted to Bryce Dallas Howard's Twitter page. Initially adapted for the screen from Michael Crichton's novel of the same name, the iconic film franchise began its legendary run by smashing box office records in 1993. Steven Spielberg helmed the project, leading the film to a seemingly endless slew of accolades, including three wins at the 66th Academy Awards. At the time of the film's release, Jurassic Park took the use of computer-generated imagery (CGI) and elevated it to a whole new level, blowing both audiences and critics away with the authenticity of the dinosaurs and setting an entirely new industry standard. Overall, the Jurassic Park franchise features two film trilogies, the supposed last of which is the upcoming Jurassic World Dominion, scheduled for release in June 2022. Undoubtedly, the original Jurassic Park film assembled a superb cast and, coupled with the groundbreaking CGI effects, was destined to become the classic that it is today. In the franchise's subsequent film releases, major stars like Vince Vaughn, Julianne Moore, and William H. Macy have hopped on board the Jurassic train and lent their creative expertise to the franchise. Although the original cast members had their individual roles in subsequent films, audiences were left wondering if they might ever fully come together on screen to thwart off more dinosaur mayhem. In a recent post to Bryce Dallas Howard's Twitter, the original cast of Jurrasic Park unites for a fun photo opportunity. The trio of Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum has been dropping photos for audiences here and there as the hype for the upcoming film continues mounting. It has been nearly 30 years since the original film was released, making the upcoming reunion even that much sweeter for lifelong fans of the franchise. So, while audiences eagerly wait to actually see the original cast back together onscreen, fun photos like this will have to suffice. Check out the photo from Howard below: Click Here To View The Original Post The original Jurassic Park (1993) film sees a select group of people, including the trio of Dern, Neil, and Goldblum, invited to an all-new type of experiential theme park. Upon arriving, the group comes face to face with real-life dinosaurs that have been cloned and brought to life through advanced genetic engineering. However, the once awestruck guests soon must fend for their lives as things turn chaotic when a damaging storm rolls through and knocks out power to the park. After narrowly surviving countless battles with their dinosaur counterparts, and with the history of the dino-fighting trio deeply rooted from the beginning, the onscreen chemistry and all-new battle for dominance over dinosaurs are likely to captivate audiences the same way it did almost 30 years ago. The Jurassic Park franchise as a whole has grown insurmountably since its inception in 1993. Spielberg's adaptation of Crichton's novel will likely live on indefinitely, not only for its mere entertainment value but for its groundbreaking work, which ultimately advanced the way audiences would view and see film moving forward. The excitement of seeing the crew onscreen again is undeniable, and audiences everywhere can check out Jurassic World Dominion upon its scheduled release in June 2022. Source

Singer-songwriter Norah Jones, who released Pick Me Up Off The Floor in 2020 is planning to release a super deluxe edition of her seminal debut album Come Away With Me. In February 2002, Jones was an unknown 22-year-old singer attempting to charm the world with her debut album Come Away With Me. Even though her label found difficulty in categorizing her sound, the album went on to sell nearly 30 million copies, reaching #1 in 20 countries, and sweep the 2003 GRAMMY Awards with eight wins. Jones’ unreleased version of “Come Away With Me” still provides that warm, reassuring feeling just like in the released version. The guitar adds to the soothing feeling. So much so, that it sounds like a Blues song. Listen here. On April 29, Blue Note/UMe will release Come Away With Me: 20th Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition. The 44-track collection will contain 22 previously unreleased tracks, including Norah’s early demos and the never-before-heard first version of the album that was produced by Craig Street. Jones reflects on her debut album, she says, “I was incredibly proud of this album and so thankful to everyone who made it with me…I figured it was a good first try and felt that it truly captured who I was–musically–at that time, which made me the proudest and is all you can really hope for when making a record.” The 20th Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition was produced by Eli Wolf, and it is set to be released digitally and physically as a 4-LP vinyl set and a 3-CD set, both of which come in premium packaging with an extensive booklet with new liner notes by Norah and rare session photos. A recently discovered Thor: Love and Thunder LEGO set teases Thor and Jane Foster holding back an unknown giant monster attacking New Asgard. The upcoming Thor sequel will see Chris Hemsworth's hero return under the direction of Thor: Ragnarok's Taika Waititi. Alongside Hemsworth, Waititi, and Tessa Thompson, Thor: Love and Thunder will star Christian Bale and see the return of Natalie Portman as Jane Foster. First seen in Avengers: Endgame, the city of Tønsberg was repopulated by the survivors of Asgard following the actions of Thanos (Josh Brolin). After surviving the destruction of their home by Surtur and the decimation of half their population at the hands of the Mad Titan, the Asgardians settled into the coastal settlement, renaming it New Asgard. While Thor dealt with his depression, Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) took leadership, with the Avenger eventually coronating her as the new king. After the reveal of the "Thor's Goat Boat" LEGO set amongst other pieces of merch, a newly discovered unannounced LEGO set hints at a terrifying threat for Thor's new home. Shared by Thor: Love and Thunder News on Twitter, the new LEGO set was discovered in Europe and originally posted by LEGO fan account the.brick.wolf. Priced at €20 (around $22 in US currency), the LEGO set titled "Attack on New Asgard" not only features a Minifigure of Thor in his new outfit holding Stormbreaker, but also Portman's Jane Foster wielding Mjolnir, as well as Bale's Gorr the God-Butcher. The set's main build feature is a gigantic green brick-built monster covered in black spikes, with scorpion-inspired claws and green tendrils. Check out Thor: Love and Thunder News' original post below. Click here to see the original post. While it wasn't revealed alongside the other recent pieces of merchandise, "Attack on New Asgard" is one of the fans' first glimpses at the new film. Recently revealed figures of Thor and Jane gave fans their first clearer looks at the two hero's new outfits following prior promotional art leaks. Thor's new outfit swaps out the darker blacks and silvers seen throughout Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame for brighter blues and golds, all while retaining his longer hair and red cape. Jane's costume is a faithful adaptation of the Mighty Thor armor she donned throughout her time wielding Mjolnir, starting with Jason Aaron and Russell Dauterman's Thor Volume 4 in 2014. The LEGO sets also offered a tease of Gorr, a character who had only prior been glimpsed at through photographs of Bale in costume taken during filming. While the LEGO set may spell out a terrible ordeal awaiting the citizens of New Asgard, this piece of merch must be taken with a grain of salt. In many cases, merchandise like LEGO can feature cut content like Throg's presence in LEGO's Marvel Studios Minifigure series, or the release of the "Tony Stark Sakaarian Iron Man," a LEGO set depicting a cut episode from the first season of Marvel's What If..?. While answers may be uncertain at the time of writing whether the monster will be in Thor: Love and Thunder, footage from the film's first trailer could possibly confirm if this creature is present and will spell doom for New Asgard. A new Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness fan poster brings back Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Marvel’s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is one of comics and, in turn, cinema’s most popular characters. In 2002, director Sam Raimi launched his Spider-Man trilogy starring Maguire, which helped to revolutionize superhero cinema. Following abandoned plans for a Spider-Man 4, the franchise was rebooted with Andrew Garfield in the titular role. Now, Tom Holland is the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s web-slinger. The MCU’s Phase 4 has been delving into its ever-evolving multiverse theory with projects like WandaVision, Loki, What If…?, and last year’s box office juggernaut, Spider-Man: No Way Home. The latter film sees Holland’s Peter Parker and Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) crack open said multiverse and bring a handful of past Spider-Man characters into the cinematic universe, including Maguire and Garfield’s Spider-Men. Following the events of No Way Home, Cumberbatch reprises his role in the upcoming Multiverse of Madness, which marks Raimi’s first Marvel film since Spider-Man 3. Previous trailers for Doctor Strange 2 have confirmed that it will see the return of Patrick Stewart's Professor X, bringing the X-Men franchise into the MCU. Its multiversal plot has also resulted in heavy speculation as to which other Marvel faces may appear, including another cameo from Maguire's Spider-Man. Now, one fan has brought those theories to life. Artist Agt Design recently shared their own Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness poster on Instagram. The piece features Strange, Defender Strange, Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez), Baron Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor), Professor Charles Xavier, and, of course, Maguire’s Spider-Man. Check it out below: Click Here to View the Original Post With a script written by Loki creator Michael Waldron, Raimi’s Multiverse of Madness piggybacks off the events of WandaVision, Loki, What If…?, and No Way Home. Its cast is so far confirmed to include Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, and Ejiofor, who all reprise their roles from 2016’s Doctor Strange. Joining them is Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, and Gomez in her debut as heroine America Chavez. The latest Doctor Strange 2 trailer was released before the Super Bowl earlier this month, unveiling a slew of alternate timelines, universes, and Doctor Strange variants. Its plot details are still scant, but Rami's return as Maguire's former Spider-Man director has fuelled rumors of his seemingly natural cameo post-No Way Home. Ulimately, factoring in Spider-Man: No Way Home’s utilization of Sony’s characters and Disney/Marvel Studios’ acquisition of both Fox’s Fantastic Four and X-Men, Multiverse of Madness could connect to any number of Marvel projects. So far, the biggest revelation has been the inclusion of Strange variants, zombies, and Professor X, who appears to be a member of Marvel Comics’ Illuminati. Given Maguire’s now-confirmed multiversal status, it's certainly possible that the actor's web-slinger will feature in the Multiverse of Madness when it releases. However, given how jam-packed Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness already appears to be, Maguire, if he does feature, will likely only appear for a moment. Source

Sylvester Stallone breaks down who would win in a fight between his two iconic characters, Rocky Balboa and John Rambo. In 1976, Stallone wrote and starred in director John G. Avildsen’s Rocky. The film introduced audiences to its eponymous Italian Stallion, a Philly slugger who is granted a fateful exhibition with the heavyweight boxing champion of the world, Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers). Stallone went on to reprise his role in seven Rocky movies and two Creed spin-offs. In 1982, Stallone made his debut as Green Beret and Vietnam veteran John Rambo in Ted Kotcheff’s First Blood, which is based on David Morrell’s novel of the same name. Similar to his 80s tenure as Rocky, Stallone leaned further into his action hero persona with each installment in the Rambo franchise, ending with 2019’s Rambo: Last Blood. Now, Stallone’s name has become synonymous with both Rocky and Rambo. Given each character’s status as a warrior in their own right, albeit specializing in different disciplines, diehard Stallone fans have often debated who would win in a fight between the (very) hard-headed heavyweight boxing champ and the decorated and dangerous solider. Stallone often takes to social media to share behind-the-scenes tidbits from his work on the Rocky and Rambo franchises. Recently, a fan poster hyping the bout between his two characters prompted the 75-year-old actor to give his take on the theoretical fight. Stallone broke down the advantages, disadvantages, strategies, and fighting techniques of each character, before ultimately deciding that, whoever wins, "neither man will ever be the same." Check it out below: Click Here to View the Original Post Stallone has not only played the two iconic characters, but also written and directed a majority of Rocky and Rambo's outings. His understanding of this fantasy match and its lion-heated fighters is unparalleled. If his detailed analysis is any indication, Stallone wants to see this crossover as much as any of the millions of Rambo and Rocky fans. That being said, while Rambo: Last Blood appears to be the nail in its character’s cinematic coffin, the Rocky franchise just keeps coming back for more. Stallone spent last year working on his director’s cut of Rocky IV, dubbed Rocky IV: Rocky vs. Drago, which broke pandemic records through its ticket pre-sales for a one-night event in November 2021. On top of that, Michael B. Jordan is currently directing and starring in Creed 3, continuing the heavyweight journey of Adonis Johnson/Creed. In Creed 2, Rocky appeared to pass the torch and officially retire for good. However, Stallone continues to tease the return of the Italian Stallion in a potential prequel series. Whether or not that comes to pass remains to be seen. However, in the meantime, while Stallone refuses to give a definitive answer, it appears the Rocky vs Rambo battle debate will continue to rage on. Source

Andrew Garfield says he doesn't believe that he'll ever play Spider-Man again. Starring in Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man movies, the actor's stint as the wall-crawler was unceremoniously cut short after Sony pulled the plug on The Amazing Spider-Man 3. But seven years after he exited the role, Garfield was given the chance to reprise his Peter Parker/Spider-Man portrayal, this time in the MCU through Spider-Man: No Way Home. For months, the actor was hounded by questions regarding persistent rumors that he would appear in the latest Marvel Studios and Sony collaboration. Unlike fellow returning Spider-Man, Tobey Maguire, Garfield couldn't evade the press' questions, since he was also busy promoting other projects such as Netflix's Tick, Tick... Boom! and The Eyes of Tammy Faye. Despite heavy fan speculation, however, Garfield was adamant about denying his Spider-Man's involvement in No Way Home. However, as is now well-known, the actor's cover-up was well intended, meant to preserve the surprising reveal of both he and fellow former Spider-Man Maguire joining Tom Holland's version of the hero in MCU threequel. While Garfield's appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home revived plenty of interest in his iteration of the character, it doesn't appear that another Garfield Spidey return is likely. In a recent interview at the 2022 SAG Awards, the actor was asked by Variety whether audiences could expect to see his Peter Parker on screen again soon. Garfield quickly revealed that he has "no plans" to play Spider-Man again. "No plans, that's the truth. I mean, everyone's gonna call me a liar for the rest of my life. I am the boy who cried wolf now." It's clear that Garfield is aware of fans' suspicions towards any of his Spider-Man-related claims. After all, the actor repeatedly denied his involvement in Spider-Man: No Way Home, proving that he, like many MCU stars, is capable of explicitly lying to preserve Marvel secrets. That being said, there are no known concrete plans for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 from Sony, or for bringing Garfield's web-slinger back into the MCU's budding multiverse, so it's certainly possible that the window of opportunity has now closed. Garfield has also pointed out recently that he feels he's "far too old" to be playing Spider-Man, throwing further doubt on any potential return. To many audiences, it may seem too early to be discussing Garfield's potential next outing as Spider-Man. Indeed, Spider-Man: No Way Home is still playing in theaters and proving to be a box office mega-hit, and Sony is now gearing up for the release of Morbius. In the event that Garfield did ever choose to don the mask again, there is no doubt that fans would be pleased, since his chemistry with fellow Spideys Maguire and Holland proved a highlight of No Way Home for countless viewers. However, while Spider-Man continues to capture hearts around the world, the MCU's multiverse has plenty more in store in the coming months. Source

Andy Serkis opens up about Alfred Pennyworth's role in The Batman, explaining he isn't much of a father-figure here. This week will finally see the release of the most anticipated DC film of the year: The Batman. Directed by Matt Reeves, the movie offers an updated, darker take on the iconic DC hero, now played by Robert Pattinson. The Batman was once slated for release in June 2021, but delays caused by the coronavirus pandemic led Warner Bros. to push it back a handful of times. Now, after well over a year of breathless anticipation, fans will finally get to see what Reeves has in store for Bruce Wayne. The Batman takes place in Bruce's second year as Gotham's vigilante. His current challenge is the Riddler (Paul Dano), who has been murdering members of Gotham's elite as part of some twisted scheme. Bruce must call upon all his skills as a detective to get to the bottom of Riddler's plans, but his demons threaten to get in the way. The Batman features updated takes on several iconic DC characters, from the Penguin (Colin Farrell) to Catwoman (Zoë Kravitz). There are also some key allies on Bruce's side, like Serkis' Alfred Pennyworth. Of course, in following with everything else in The Batman, this Alfred is far from the refined, elderly butler fans know so well. Speaking to Digital Spy ahead of The Batman's release, Serkis teased the new aspect of Alfred he got to explore in the movie. The Batman plays into Alfred's past as a soldier, and according to Serkis, that has cut into his ability to be a parent. He explained: "He is an ex-soldier. He's worked for the secret service, but one thing he isn't, is a father or possess the emotional toolbox to be a father. That is really what's at the core of this telling of the tale of our version of their relationship and I'm thankful that it is a fresh view, really." The Batman Andy Serkis Alfred In previous Batman movies, Alfred has always been a caring father-figure to Bruce. The Batman promises to be a little different, even if Alfred still does care deeply for his tortured charge. Serkis has previously teased the vastly different relationship between Bruce and Alfred within The Batman, which is so chilly to the point where they aren't really speaking when the movie begins. It could be that Alfred's past experiences have tainted this bond, though Bruce's own refusal to care for himself likely doesn't help. This is just one of the many ways Reeves has adjusted the well known characters of Gotham City to bring something new to The Batman. There have been numerous onscreen depictions of every character in the film, meaning the pressure is really on to offer a new twist to everyone involved. It so far sounds like Reeves and his team have managed to do just that, but fans will have the final say on how successful they are when The Batman arrives this week. Source
